The very nature of man.
Yielded

I have churned the earth and swallowed the sea,
let lies deseed, sway and breathe.
From mountaintops I cast the sun,
delivered in wrath – affliction and shun.

My scorn uncast, bitter snare,
unfolded the binds and fixed my glare.
A purpose is wrought, and life exposed,
beneath the vines, courage arose.
Hope endures with united cause;
love is the way – eternal the cost.
