A poem I wrote a few months ago.
Hope is the glimmer in a sick man's eye.
Hope is the sound of a newborn's cry.

Hope is the water in the middle of a desert,
Hope is a hand reached out to comfort.

Hope is a rain drop after a drought,
Hope is the friend there in a moment of doubt.

Hope is sunshine seen through the clouds.
Hope is a familiar face seen through the crowds.

Hope is a flash of peace from God.
