A poem i had to make in school People like it but i thought it was bad
When I wake in the night
None is bright
Holding on to death's embrace
Pleading not to take this plight

In the night i see the real
I see what the light conceals
The stain of blood
The rain of souls

As i walk in the night
My heart stops without a fight
My eyes stitch shut
My lies turn cold

Time stops
The night grows
Death knocks
Souls fade
