Contemplating when I changed so much from a little girl!
I can't remember when it happened.
This person I knew so well.
Thought she'd always be,
a happy, carefree, unselfish girl.

But something changed inside,
that made her rotten to the core,
She no longer thought of others,
just when could she next score?

I want the old person back.
The one who didn't care,
about living life the wrong way,
But she's no longer there.

Instead in her place someone horrible had grown,
You can see it in her face
Her needs and wants quite clearly,
Eat her soul away.

I can't find the old person,
People say she'll come back,
But how can I be certain,
It won't be till everyone's dressed in black.

Maybe it would be best she died.
The next world may be kinder,
But should she take the risk,
Of playing with her karma?

She still has love in her heart and her tears still freely flow.
Until all that has gone from her she still has a chance,
to make amends,to live a life,
To again see her spirit dance.
