A poem I wrote a while back
Hidden, Fake, thats what you see

The man behind the mask, thats the real me

Lonely, skint, learning my craft

Shoved up on stage, forced to act daft

Sat in the cold all dark and depressed

The fun and the laughter, it's all been supressed

A man like me, a wasted actor

But in my life, it's just a small factor

A fragmented piece of the mixed up jigsaw

I search for the fun, but the angers still raw

Hiding beneath the joy and the laughter

Searching, digging deep, for that happy ever after

My old wrinkled face, millions of laughter lines

Backstage, no make-up, just tears and big sighs

A fragmented piece of the mixed up jigsaw

I search for the fun, but the angers still raw

Living this double life, aint no easy task

But here I go again, back under the mask
