THe pain of losing my boyfriend. My anger and pain.
I was played the fool,

in a joker's game

A guarded hand revealed the truth.

A moment lost, a decade gone,

frozen time, and a forfeiture of youth.

I scream now.

Let the fire fuel my strength.

I knew you.

The faint smile,

behind the hidden shroud.

A kindred soul-

compassionate,

hapless,

forgiving.

But the truth lies unabowed.

I scream now.

Let my strength fuel these words.

I was a pawn

in a moral farce.

A open fist lifted the veil.

A meaningless word, a broken phrase,

another victim to some fairytale.

I scream now.

Let these words ignite this phrase.

You think of nothing

and no one.

Turn the cards,

Bleed the color from the pages.

I see you

and scream.
