Best worst mistake
Her eyes are baby blue
Her lips a rosy red
Prettiest smile you'd ever saw
But her heart is
Cold
and
Dead

She lives life in a trance
always singing sad blues songs
Could break a heart with the beat of a lash
But never thought
that
she
belonged

Oh baby
if only I knew
What is it that's ailing you
Oh baby
what I would do
to pull that smile right on through
