This is a poem I did in seventh grade after I ran with my class around a lake.
Large Fruit on the ground
Small acorns and pinecones I soon found
I saw tiny berries in the trees
I get cooled down by a chilly breeze
Some ducks are asleep
Others fluff themselves deep
The fish have fun
Under the autumn sun

I run a faster pace
For the pond has a second face
It's a small face
Alge covers the surface
I found a missing lure
Something will get caught in it for sure
Green bellied ducks swim
One bill's colors are dim

Now I feel fond
Cause I saw a two-faced pond
