Why do you people change and hurt ones they once called friends?
Un-popular, who cares?
Your weird, we don't mind the starres.
Lame, but fun.
So are your friends, I have a gun!
It always seemed like that.
Helping friends out when in a trap.
Watching each other while enjoying life.
But then there comes that cold knife.
They backstab most of you.
Now you don't know what to do.
They tease your old friends.
Thats when the rule bends.
You lash out, protecting who still stood tall.
Even when you felt like you'd fall.

Though you don't get why or how.
They use to be your friend but now,
They push you around,
Send your friends on the ground.
You ask why, why did they do it.
They hated one of your friends they admit.

It could have gone down a better way.
They didn't have to stay.
But its too late now.
But you'll stay and help you vow.
Your friend is still being pushed around.
theres only one way you found.
You picked up your twisted words.
You hope they don't flock like birds.
Even though it hurts to fight an old friend.
But its the good one you got to mend.

At the end of this war, you'll be hurt the most.
after fighting off every post.
For the ones who stayed.
In the end new friendships were made.
Though your still in pain.
You'll let it wash away like rain.
Over time you see.
There's no other place you'd like to be.
Then with the true friends that were there.
Even if it never seemed fair.
