Entry for writers cramp contest
I miss it all. The endless days of sunshine, the warm breezes all night, the soft ripples on the water. It seems like it was so long ago. I would give anything for it to be summer again. When each night was spent sitting on the pier at the lake, watching the reflection of the moon dance across the water. Fireworks could be heard at any time during the summer and stars always shone bright. Everyday was spent with friends and family, all gathered together over food and fun. No fussed or fought and everyone was happy. The summer truly is the perfect time of year. That must be why I miss it so much. Summer can’t come soon enough.
