What happens when you die, the meaning of life, and everything in between
Death
Darkness
Infinite chasms of black
No Pearly Gates or Fiery Pits
Just darkness
Forever
The end
Sorry to burst your bubble
If you honestly believed in something more
Something more beautiful
More elegant
Devine
Simple myths to delude one's view of the present
But why do that?
Why minimize the significance of the gift of life
With myriad of things that happen after it is over
Cruel really
To convince someone to look past
The most significant event in their existence
Life
The ability to knowingly interact with our enviroment to better ourselves
To percieve and behold the universe
The only known creatures to truly appreciate and comprehend
Beauty
To live
That is the meaning of life
In every sense of the word
Feel with every sense
Every fiber of your being
Joy, elation, ecstasy, pure bliss
All attainable, if only for a moment
Pain, anguish, turmoil
Necessary at the right time
Every emotion, every feeling, everything
To not experience as much as our mind can fathom and more is a travesty
So when the last chapter is closing
The lights begin to go dim
And the end consumes you
Regret will find no solace in your company
