three years was all it took!
The jubilee of Christmas morn
Now the sadness as we mourn
The vivid memory of her in my embrace
Now I’m left with empty arm
That cheerful expression will not again be seen
The beautiful spirit now only a memory
We still have the holidays but just not her
Three years does not seem long enough
Yet three years was long enough to change my life
