A poem for when no one will just listen. Has ONE cuss word, otherwise it is clean.
When you give advice,
When you tell me to get over it,
When you say I don't make sense,
Can't you see it makes me feel like shit?

I need you to listen, just listen,
Let me get this off my chest,
Don't talk, just listen.
On my own I'll find what's best.

When you tell me what to do,
It makes me feel inadequate, like I can't do for myself,
and then you say it could be worse.
Stop pulling your moldy, useless, jarred advice down from the shelf.

I can't keep having to convince you,
I must be free to find what to do.
