Just an idea I had
I recycle.
Bits of my life that you might see as junk.
I take em remake em,
Show them some love.
Break down bad decisions
and rebuild them with glue
It's a special concoction
Of what I find to be true
Its constituents solid
Substantial as well
Lessons learned the hard way
From my journey through hell
The first is quite simple:
Always do your best.
Despite pressure from others,
Never settle for less.
Nosce Te Ipsum
A short latin phrase
If you know this, you know all
But your humility's at stake
Stay balanced
Know pleasure won't come without pain
True love is a blessing
It is not a game
Sex is more than a three letter word
If you play with fire,
You're bound to get burned.
Where there's a will there's a way
Use the gifts that you have
Or the giver of these
Will take them right back.

My junkyard of a life
With this glue I've created
Is now a garden of knowledge
I once had debated

I recycle.
Bits of my life that you might see as junk.
I take em remake em,
Show them some love.
Break down bad decisions
and rebuild them with glue
It's a special concoction
Of what I find to be true.
