My Hope series
He intently scanned the infinite sky,
And patiently wondered as to why,
His life cannot be painted so bright,
And rid him of his constant plight.

Man constantly dwells on hope,
Or the availability of a rope,
Cannot ever be so very dear,
To rid him of his every fear.

But, as he raised his gaze,
And viewed through the haze,
He percieved a new sight,
Where his life was full of light.

Where all his agonies gave way,
From the current problems sway,
He stepped forth with his head held high,
And now long behind him his problems lie.
