My Hope series
He wondered why was his life so dim,
When will it be spiced with some vim?
When will his whole life's bright light?
Will soon and foreever be in his sight.

Will his gory forlornly end?
Or will his frail body bend?
By the weight of his plight,
And end his painful night.

But he felt that hope had finally dawned,
His opportunities had distinctly yawned,
To help usher him into a bright new hope,
And which provided him with a long rope.

A faint smile lit up his face,
And his heartbeat did race,
He felt his issues melt away,
He was in life's sweet sway.
