What love does.
A Burst of Sorrow



What have you taken away?

A smothering indistinctness of agony as thoughts creep.

Once we shared paradise,

wide-eyed and innocent,

but your love drifted away.

A sickening vision of memory -

tears follow rain, follow love,

love dissolved.

In a burst of sorrow,

I still love you.
