A poem about betrayal. She thought he loved her but....
There was no one for her but he held out his hand,

She was lying on the ground and he helped her to stand,

Just  looking at the Moon and the stars above,

One night she discovered that she was in love.

Her smiles grew larger, her tears disapeared,

All her doubts about love were cleared,

He was the one she really loved and admired,

It was only his love that she had always desired.

She could forget the world with the warmth of his touch,

What else could be the reason she loved him so much.

There was a day, together were they,

Lost in each other, both were happy and gay.

He held her tightly and gave her a kiss,

There could be no other feeling better than this.

She was so lost in love, embraced in his arm,

In his eyes, she found the greatest charm.

But there was something else which was fascinating him,

Soon those restrictions started irritating him,

He was no different but like many other men,

He stripped her off there and then.

She loved him, so did, what all he said,

And there she was lying naked on his bed,

Like a starving wolf, he jumped on her,

This was he, her so called 'lover'.

So many times, she pleaded, she cried,

But ignoring her pains, he tried and tried,

Her tears, which used to be his treasure,

were nothing to him, in front of that pleasure.

Thinking that he would love her more,

She did more than she could endure,

Saying goodbye to him, her heart started beating,

Alas! She did not know that it was their last meeting.

Once again she was left alone and sad,

why for her, the world was always so bad?

Once again, her fate gifted her tears,

And left her to live with those terrible fears.

He said his love was true and deep,

Then why did he ever let her weep?

She gave her everything to make him smile,

And he forgot everything, just in a while.

to walk out of his life, he showed her the door,

The reason is so obvious that he loves her no more.
