Depression
Try to get out of bed,
It's safe, secure.
Snuggle under blankets,
Dogs warm, hear then snoring.
Want to stay put,
Don't want to make decisions,
It's easier staying in.
Don't want to see anyone,
Don't want to talk,
Want to stay in bed.
Dream about the field,
Lay in my field,
Dream of heaven.
The grass smells earthy, sweet.
Soft wind carresses my face,
Then the alarm rings,
Reach over, hit the snooze.
Don't want to get out of bed,
But will have to soon.
