An old poem I wrote years ago. Wondering what people think of it.
Intoxicating golden shimmer;
my deadly willful attraction
to what appears luminous.

Invoking forgotten memories
her warm amatory giggle,
echoes through my heart's void halls

Captivating in conversation-
sensual words and sentiments
flow like an overlooked stream.

Bouncing feathery playful eyelids;
and a gaze exempt from sorrow-
her brow will never furrow

Precious grins and quick winks,
lavish dresses and mixed drinks.
If I pursue this golden pearl,
will it transform my hapless world?

Is this a quixotic fantasy?
quick meal to satiate the mind,
or my shaky brain's collapse?

Her haunting, luscious, rose and peach scent,
could rise even the most decayed
to a full fit fleshy frame.

Crimson fire circles her round mouth.
Puckering round, thick, juicy lips,
compliment her bright white smile.

Oh! My absentminded foolishness!
insecure with my silent thought
she slipped away, quite distraught!
