self awareness
A moment from the shade i'm burning

twisting in unyeilding light

clarity - my new found captor

leaves me defenceless

to my sight.



The pale lit dawn



sillouettes the ocean 



arms outstretched



toward my walls of  sand



As I dig in my heels



to witness



The tide engulf me where I stand
