When i'm not feeling very creative but I still have the urge to write this is what happens
His eyes peered right through my soul,
And in that moment I knew everything was over.

My hands shook,
Heart raced (and not with butterflies anymore).
My stomach heaved and the sick settled in my throat.

It was over,
Everything I worked so hard for
Just disappeared.

He brushed his hand across mine,
Goosebumps broke out under my skin.
I moved away from him.

"I'm sorry"

"Don't"

Tears welled in my eyes,
And they fell.

And fell.

And fell.

I hung my head and wiped my damp cheeks.
"I'll get your things"
I walked from the room and collapsed.

My body convulsed,
Breathing erratic and shallow.
Heart almost bursting through my chest.
I felt a part of myself dissolve,
And I knew I would never know true happiness again.

He put his hand on my shoulder, took his bags,
And left.
