Carefree cartwheels 'cross the garden

Luscious treats amongst the boughs

Flying dragons catching sunbeams

Scents of Earth infused by ploughs



Crackling grasses quickly growing

Swaying petals dipped in amber

Gentle showers spirits flowing

O'er lush tips beetles clamber



Budding secrets close to bursting

Aching hearts awaiting bows

To be drawn with Cupids' arrows

Winds of Spring good fortune blows!
