Your individual devotion to a celebrity is seldom requited.
Not one glance
For little old me?
Not a chance
I'm nobody.

I look up to him though he looks down on me,
I live with him in endless
fantasy;
Though I know of his indifference and concealed apathy,
I look up to him though he looks down on me.

I am just a grain of unique yet trivial sand,
On his beach of admiration,
grand;
Myriads flock to witness his majestic and mighty stand
I am just a grain of unique yet trivial sand.

Not one glance
For little old me?
Not a chance
I'm nobody.

In the ocean of faces I drown from his eyes
Swallowed by the roaring
Cries;
My longing to be heard is cruelly denied
In the swarm of faces I drown from his eyes.

Will he ever notice me? That I cannot say.
Perhaps a smile but quickly torn
away;
Wishing won't avert his gaze to some girl in his way,
Will he ever notice me? That I cannot say.

The second glance
For little old me:
Was only by chance
To him I'm nobody.
