when love just continues diminishing from the relationships, due to various fights etc.
You are like sand now,

That is slipping through the gaps between my fingers.

No matter how much I try to hold,

You just slip past.

Like the candle which is snuffed and put to rest…

Because it has lost too much wax….

Just like after being sunny,

Clouds came from nowhere,

And washed away my world….

I want you to stay with me so badly,

I want ‘us’ to stay

But you continue slipping, withdrawing away from me.

I know you are too perfect for me,

Too good to be with me.

I was lucky to have you,

And I hope you can stay happy by letting me go.

But,

Never doubt my love,

I have loved you with all I had,

I am not a perfectionist like you,

But I have loved you true.

You dart through my mind,

And you own a special couch in my heart.

You will always have that place

And no matter how much it rains on you,

I will be there with you.
