This is an allegory for postpartum depression I did a while ago.
She saw herself among the trees
Drifting
        through
                the
                    bright
                          green
                                leaves
She saw herself as a bird
Perching on the rough brown wood
She heard her chicks chirp hungrily
She tried to feed them immediately
But to no avail could she sate their gluttony
She did not know what to do
So she picked up One
Then Two
And
    threw
          them
                  from
                      their
                            nest
And on the forest ground they shall ever
                      Rest
