A weird and quite disgusting story. :D
“It is a very exhausting day,” I uttered.

I found myself sitting slumpy in a small room lit only by a single light, a peaceful place where I could unwind my weary mind. I took a deep breath and rested my chin on my hand then slowly closed my eyes. As darkness overwhelmed my vision, my mind wandered aimlessly, looking back from those irritating occurrences that happened that day to the unsavory banana-q that I ate last week, to the message of my best friend on facebook that I received months ago.

Those memories were vividly arranged in my mind, suddenly twirled and melded into a shapeless mass until everything, all of it went vague. The exasperating croak of frogs coming from the outside seemed far away. My mind continued adrift into the depths of indefinite abyss---into nothingness. And then, the soothing sound of silence, at a snail's pace filled the small room.

“Ah…such a relaxing...wait”

But then slowly my breathing became hard. I gasped for air.

I tried to open my eyes but the darkness seemed like a weight that pushed down my lids and obstructed my vision. My fingertips had gone numb. I couldn’t feel my body anymore.

“Am I dead?" I asked myself, uncertain of what had happened.

But, thinking about the fruitless struggles that I made earlier made me compelled to realize that my earthly body has yielded from the weariness this life can offer.

“No, it can’t be!”

“This is stupid!" I don’t want to end my life like this. Someone please help me!” I screamed in despair.

Then suddenly, a strange and indefinite object fell into the luminous water underneath me. An odd stench slowly permeated the room, passing in my nostrils to my olfactory nerves until it registered in my brain. As the darkness capitulated from the light, the exasperating croak of frogs coming from the outside became clearer.

I opened my eyes, looking wide-eyed on the tissue paper on my left while gathering my thoughts. I perceived on my right a pail with overflowing of water coming from the faucet, continuously drifting onto the tiles that were neatly arranged on the floor.

“Damn! I fell asleep!”
