A poem about the depression that comes back every so often.
Depressed

Dark, gloomy, and shadowing fog
It lingers the city nights
Flowers wither away

Chain link fences rust
Encrusted by the filth
By natures own hands

As the smog expands
The darker it becomes
The colorful feelings start to fade
Imagination decomposes
As hope is lost

There is no tunnel of light
To bring it all back
Thoughts of suicide start to overwhelm
As the noose of the fog wraps around me
My heart drops as I gradually die away
