Total Chaos

My mind is unsettled
a jumbled mass of chaos
my constant tears swimming
in a desperate sea of discontent

My inner voice is silent
muffled by the mayhem
stifled by apprehension
my words are forever lost

My vision is abruptly gone
with my story left unwritten
leaving behind agonizing pain
mental torture and regret

Has my life story become
one that will remain unfinished
will it be a story with no end
or will I somehow get past
this unrelenting case of
writer's block?
