loving someone you cannot be with
I use to listen to songs on the radio
Listen to what they meant
I use to feel each one was about me
To dumb to understand
There’s not an answer for everything
When I close my eyes now and listen
I picture you singing to me
Wanting me to understand
And although it hurts
I was born to be alone
I’ve poured my heart out
Given you my whole
Have swept my tears away
And healed my heart
I used to think you needed fear
To feel alive
But when I think of fear now
I feel like I’m been suffocated
I shake within
2 + 2=4 quite a simple equation
So what does me and you equal
Because together where not good
Yet without you I feel empty
I know you care, I care too
But it’s a ticking time bomb
And one day, one or both of us
Will get hurt
