Just my memories of how powerful an unexpected kiss can be.
Smiles come and go for feelings almost whole,
As laughter dances through that cold air.
With the moon as their only witness, the night it's almost full,
To miss this chance he will not bear.
Comfort from these emotions laid to rest,
Only warmth comes from that which is spoken,
Every word that falls it is meant only to caress,
The clock of waiting has finally been broken.
Acts of kindness turn quickly to affection,
This land it grows still and quiet,
She finds his shoulder as if looking for protection,
As emotions rise up to start this midnight riot.
This fever of wanting grows like fire,
Her skin, irresistible to the touch,
Sharing this moment his only desire,
For him to show her that she means very much,
Before the night had the chance to retire,
Before his opportunity ever showed,
She had brought them even higher,
His sense of happiness quickly overflowed.
Wishing this night would never cease,
He returned to her for a second go,
His heart finally at peace,
To have someone he could truly know.

To my Kellibean :)
