An existential view of life.

Reflections
Words can act like scimitars,
Shining silver cutting stars,
Chaos supersedes a birth
Another spark of life in dearth
Our thoughts contain an inner voice
That hesitates to make a choice
To choose a faith in fading light
To follow, follow, out of sight,
To contemplate the absent stare
You see yourself and look elsewhere,
And what we chase does not exist
For all the rusty rings we kissed,
The Shadows dance the merest touch
So fine, the eyes, they strain too much!
The looking glass of life you seek
Your faith in God, but for a peek,
of what awaits, the great unknown,
for you to meet and meet alone,
And does it justify your prayers
Or insulate the life it tears?
Live today, tomorrow too!
For you are me and I am you.
