An ode to those that were affected or otherwise touched by the floods in southern Alberta
Enjoy the sun,
soak in the rain,
you can't help but feel
Mother Nature's pain.

Laugh with us,
Cry with us,
Just always remember,
Living is a plus.

We fought hard,
We fought strong,
Now it's time
For everyone to get along.

Clean the streets
And clean the parks
And still there's singing
From the overhead larks.

Troopers we are,
Rising from the tide,
This is a disaster,
And we'll take it in stride.

Rebuild, remake, replace.
This is how we'll get by.
And once we are done,
That's when we'll cry.

Until then, though,
We'll stand tall,
We'll get through this,
One and all.
