Live for today, not the yesterdays.
A Familiar Goodbye

Cold whispers gently caress the air
As time warps me into yesterdays
Trapped in consistency
Unbroken routines
Time to break free
But do i dare?

Singing the words to same old songs
Treading footsteps on familiar streets
Analyzing all my wrongs
Fragile memories fall to the ground
Shattered
This mess is no longer mine to clean
I’m leaving it all behind

Today speaks in volumes
I’m listening
Moving on
