A short poem about cool weather
The morning air feeling like a cold hand on your face
Leaving you with chills and shivers
Wanting to curl into a warm blanket
The fallen leaves crisp with frost beneath your feet
Orange, red, yellow, and brown
Sticking to your shoes like maple syrup to your hands
The slightest bit of snow hanging on the tree limbs
Creating the most picturesque of sights
Awakening you with the stinging air biting your nose
The smell of wet leaves and damp ground surrounding you
Bundled in sweaters and jackets
Fighting the cold breeze
