just an assignment I had to do for English

What I See.

When i look in the mirror

I don't see me as I am

Who it is

that's looking back at  me

is ten years in the Future.

Someone Smart, Successful,

Beautiful.

Confident

in everything she does.

Her back is straight

and her shoulders are set

her brown eyes are lit with

Fire!

I can see determination

I can feel her power.

Her strength is bizzare

and overpowering.

My heart is pounding,

Yearning.

My soul deep down

is crying.

"How long is it goin to take?"

I ask myself,

"How different will I be?"

She is who I am going to become

She is who I want to be.

Symbol that represents me: Rain.

What does it represent: I chose rain as a symbol that represents me because when it rains, at times it can be soft and and calm, which could be me when I am in good mood. But then, suddenly it starts pouring angrily. This represents the time when I will reach the end of my tether and explode, impacting everyone with my showers.
