I wrote this a few years ago while I was in a dark place.
Do you hear that whisper
That says come hither?
Do you hear that song
That wants you to come along?
Do you hear that voice
That says you have no choice?
Do you think things you shouldn't?
Do you do things you used to couldn't?
Can you command things,
Wish curses on others,
Think of new beginnings,
And hate your mothers?
Then I know how you feel,
You feel like you just want to kill.
