This story of a little pig nasmed Grody who wanted new friends but couldn't find any.
I am one of the not so popular guy in Sty
If you ask me, I really can’t say why
I look like all the others and smell like them too
But somehow I am treated like I’m not so cool

Sad, hurt, confused and so not amused,
I ask mother, “Why don’t I have friends like the others do?”
She looks at me and smiles, rubbing me with her wet nose
“Grody, my son, what do you suppose?”

I look at her looking back at me lovingly
Realizing my frustration, she hugs and kisses me
“Ah my boy, years ago, mother taught this little piggy
You want a mud buddy, you got to be a mud buddy!”

Mother’s words sank deep into my heart
All this time I was angry, even from the very start
That no one would be my friend
And play with me from morning till the day’s end

So I decided to be a mud buddy, like mother said
And I went to the others and introduced myself
From that day I was no longer lonely
Because I finally became someone’s mud buddy!
