Sensation of reading a book on a winter evening. Quite random
She sits curled up in a wholesome blanket, shielding her cold limbs
The wind whispers solemnly
Escaping through a slight opening in the window adjacent
Steam surrounds an eager mouth
Consuming her thin chest
Book perched on her knees, nestled neatly to a serene page
Of serene words
Eyes gaze
In wonderment as she turns each page with innocent trepidation
Steam envelops her calm breath
Sipping the sweet heat
A slight burning sensation at the pit of her throat
Waves washing over dry terrain
Solace her knuckles,
White
Bony
Clutch desperately at the dust ridden binding

She breathes in winter…
