Moments in my life.
Quietly Screaming

Outwardly calm is the vision I create,
whilst chaos reigns in this house.
They lay on hooks like wriggly bait,
but my reaction I have to douse.

Scream and cry or shout aloud,
my attention is ardently sought.
I keep my silence for I am proud,
at the fight successfully fought.

This rare time of childish anarchy,
has my thoughts quietly screaming.
I barely hold onto my monarchy,
with infant smiles so redeeming.
