A poem I entered in a contest
The Soul of the Wind

The wind.
She is invisible;
She is emotional;
She is a mystery.

The wind is invisible,
She sways here and there,
Making her presence known
by embracing the nature around her.
Eyes cannot see her,
but they can see whom she carries.

The fall leaves,
Can't you hear them singing?
They sing when they feel the wind,
Crunching and gliding because of her majestic rhythm.
They proclaim her beauty,
Her mystery,
Her song.

The wind is emotional.
When she is sad, she leaves the air
warm and humid.
When she is angry, she blows out a storm.
When she is calm, her breeze is pleasant.

The wind is a mystery.
She cannot be seen, but she is a blessing.
We do not notice her, because we think she is normal.
But think about her...the Soul of the Wind.
