In search of love
A fair haired one, with eyes of blue-
Her smile enticing, takes hold of you.
What hidden memories her eyes may hold,
As she beckons with words before untold.

Her face so sweet, as it contemplates
What fate may bring in its roiling wake.
She sets her sail, as the winds take hold,
In brave pursuit of a fate untold.

So strong she is, this delicate bloom,
To travel far, in the gathering gloom.
No light to guide, no map to lead-
She steers the way with a heart in need.

And so she glides, her wake so slight,
A buoyant search for love’s dim light.
And though a harbor her name portends,
Marina but sails, for love’s amends.
