Some people in life are never at peace, no matter how much better it gets.

The edge
Sweet bliss
The fall
Certain
And specific
The impact
Semantics
What a mess
Surely he’ll make
Some
A few
Will help
Clean it up
Others
Many
Will avoid it entirely
Some might say
That he
Such a man
What a waste
His life
Better
His transgressions
Rescinded
God above
Somehow
Had forgiven
Faith
Not so broken
For a second
He
That man
Believed
In other people
For a moment
He believed
In himself
That was it
All that it took
Better
Those who knew
The few closer
Came to understand
The malfunctions
Of such a man
They put their hands
Upon this heart
And whispered
What you have
What is yours
And no others
Is this life
The one
In your chest
In there
Where for too long
A darkness
Has been kept
But we
Those with wide eyes
Can now see
We know
That it’s gone
Missing
So they thought
Wrong
Better
Downward
Such trivial friends
The first step
Was hell
After that
Everything easier
Gravity
Must be appeased
Again
Here comes the end
The mess
Thus bliss
Things must always
Get much worse
For some
Before they can
Overtly appear
Better…
