This monkey grows heavy as
I feed the addiction well

Let it be known, addicted no more
I close this deep dark well

This rope is attached to my neck
Held by this damn monkey on my back
I feed the addiction well

Now I am strong
Strong enough to win
I finally won
And never gave in

Lower the casket
Let the monkey rest in peace
Not under flowers
