When you keep remembering the past.
Cage of Memories

I sat in a cold chair and pondered
The needles of the clock ticked
and turned to the past
I became enslaved to the emotions
Birds' chirping turned in weeping
blooming roses died within seconds
I was drifting in the sea
of dismay and destruction
The countless wounds begged to escape
but I had no way out
I was trapped in this cage of memories.
