a young boy named billy undergoes a hard task.
“I can’t do it.” Billy said

“Yes you can. Put all of your strength into this.” Kevin said

I put all my might into this one task. My hand was getting blisters from the pain. All I could feel was a stabbing, burning pain on the palms of my hands. I just could not do it.

“ This is so confusing” I said

Kevin shot a sarcastic glance at me.

“Billy, my five year old nephew could do this.” Kevin snorted.

I tried and tried but I kept failing. This is the most grueling task I have faced yet. I knew if I completed my task I will be greatly rewarded. The vision of my victory teased me, nut made me try harder. My face was turning red, and sweat was dripping down my forehead. I could feel myself straining. I was using every ounce if muscle in my body. I’m sure if I tried any harder I would have twisted my arms into a pretzel.

“Billy stop! You’re gonna hurt yourself.”

“No I am going to finish this.” I said

I tried thinking about how it worked. Maybe that would help me. I thought long and hard about how this mechanism worked.

“Screw it.” I said

I put on a pair of rubber gloves to help me. I kept straining. You could see the veins in my head coming out. It finally gave way; I got the jar of pickles open.
