A twisted little poem about watching the pain of others and then expressing it.

Upon her heart
Sits a stone
Crushing down
Bothersome
Is the sound
I know
Her limbs limp
Her mind spent
Her body broken
Be assured
She will not survive
Nope
Her wonderful life
Tragic
Her brutal existence
Spastic
Upon her heart
There is a load
One that she
Cannot bear
She is weak
Always has been
She cannot lift
That which is death
She cannot remove
That which was placed
By another
Of significant strength
Once she was loved
Before she was adored
No longer
Nevermore
Now she is condemned
Screaming of the end
Her lungs rise and fall
Her empty mind races
All that she has done
Of failed to do
An additional burden
That she must contend
I stand on the outside
Looking in
Wider is my view
I won’t interfere
Simply I refuse
No matter if she cries
No matter if she begs
I will do nothing
Except see what was meant
A witness of the end
A pariah of the page
No life
Even hers
Will be a waste
Upon her heart
Is everything done
Who placed it there
Matters none
Why it was placed
Of a greater importance
A lesson to be had
But such lessons
Require expression
Emotionless are my notes
Stored within this mind
Placed into my heart
Retrieved when wished
Such terrible things
Cannot be forgotten
I will be honest
And true
Upon her heart
Was placed the end
Hers to be exact
She won’t survive
But what
Has happened here
To her
Will without question
Find an eternal life
Of that I am certain
Reasonably absolute…
