As we walk we find life often when we least expect it
Twisted bodies reaching out
Hands outstretched
As if asking why
Feeling perplexed

What lies within
It makes me shout
For no matter what I do
It can't come out

Till suddenly
Amidst the haze
A hand clasps another
In friendship, joys love conveys

Then I squeeze it back
Pulling us together
As on we walk
With laughter instead of gloomy weather

We smile
Faltering at first
Building bridges of words
Dispelling tears and filling my thirst

Now our bodies
Move in rhythmic display
Saying more
Then mere words alone can say
