Just something I wrote a while back. Would like some feedback to improve it.
You have come to mean so much to me,
In this endless voyage out to sea.
Becoming my northern star,
And guiding beacon to the
Safety of Eden's beach.

My heart quickens when I think of you.
All the memories we shared,
How quickly time flew.
I could not dare to part,
I could not dare to ask.

You are the inspiration and exhalation.
My breath yearns to meet yours,
Under the fabled love trees of St.Augustine.
Oh, how I wish our palms could kiss,
Resuscitating me with saving elation.

My voluptuous desert rose,
How I wish to make you bloom.
With each passing caress,
I desire to drink in your mellifluous lips.
In this garden of hopeful blossoms.

I dreamt a dream of love,
Where you belonged with me.
Your illuminating smile,
Your beautifull animated face,
Made my heart fill with bliss.

Deep in this dream of dreams,
My heart fluttered anew.
My septic wounds healed,
as you kissed my cheeks,
and laid your healing hands on mine.

I need you, as badly as Romeo needs Juliet.
These feelings continue to rise,
as our souls meet within the sandman's hourglass.
I feel the skies brighten and the sun's warm kiss.
As I finally heal, I finally know what love is.

I breathe in your sweet aroma,
It reminds me of roses in full bloom.
For you see, every time I think of you,
I think of flowers blooming at your feet.
You are life incarnate.

You bring back my innocence,
You give me back my very life.
If not for you, I'd be long gone
Buried 'neath the dunes of a
scorching desert.

My Fleur, All I desire,
All I care for is your happiness.
For love is selfless, and in turn,
So am I. You will always have my heart,
For you are love same as I.

Perhaps you will see me for me,
Or, perhaps we will never meet.
All I know for certain is that
When our palms finally kiss,
I will live to love once again.
