A poem made up of observations
Pajama pants.
Flip flop shoes.
That's what some people wear when they enter their plea.
Marijuana decal hoodie.
Cut-off shorts.
Some wear these things in front of the jury.
Mini-skirt and fuck-me pumps.
Low-cut tops, like red carpet low.
Shirts with sayings:
"Fuck the police"
"WWJD for a Klondike bar?"
"Got Vodka?"
Shirts with pictures:
Skulls.
Bones.
Guns.
Knives.
Cartoon drawings.
Favorite bands.
To their sentencing hearings, they show up in these clothes.
Halter tops.
Torn up jeans.
Before coming to court, that's what they chose.
